Selane Tairea acknowledged in Mapu E Tū series

We are proud of researcher Selane Tairea, who was featured in the Mapu E Tū series on 25 June 2025. The series celebrates young Cook Islands rising stars in celebration of the Cook Islands’ 60th year of self-governance. In the episode, Selane spoke about her volunteering positions, her career as a statistician and researcher, and her hopes for the future of Cook Islands. We are lucky to have Selane leading data analysis and statistical approaches in the work we do at Te Puna Vai Mārama and we are inspired by her work. Ie ko kō!
